About Us
The story behind BPM & Shutter
One creative team, three crafts — sound, photography, and film — built to carry your event from first look to last dance.
Who We Are
Built on music, moments, and memories
BPM & Shutter Media started with a simple idea — the people who set the mood for your event shouldn't be strangers to how it's captured. Based in Midlothian, VA and available for bookings worldwide, we bring DJ performance, photography, and videography together under one roof, so every part of your day feels considered, not cobbled together.
Behind the boards is DJ Fidel, reading the room and mixing live on a Rane System One controller. Behind the lens, our photography and videography team works in that same warm, black-and-gold sensibility — editorial, intentional, and never generic. Whether you book one service or the full experience, it's the same team, the same standard, start to finish.
One Team, Every Angle
DJ, photo, and video working from the same creative playbook, so your event feels cohesive instead of stitched together from separate vendors.
Detail-Obsessed
From playlist pacing to lighting to the final color grade, every choice is intentional — nothing left to chance on your one day.
Genuinely Invested
We treat every wedding, milestone, and celebration like it's the only one on the calendar that day — because to you, it is.
